As director of the Office of Volunteer Ministries for the Adventist Church in North America, I travel to events that promote a vision for training people and deploying them into the community to serve.

It's not the size of the event or the number in attendance that improves my acceptance of an invitation. Rather, it is the size of the vision for your people and community.

I find that in any leadership, be it in a church, school, organization, corporate group, or even government--objectives need to involve mobilizing people. I travel to support leadership.
